Our system is specially designed for use in commercial vehicles and operation in rough everyday working conditions.

The CAN bus coupling ensures maximum flexibility in the placement of the individual components.

The entire electronic system is adapted to the special on-board power supply of a vehicle – from the power supply to the connections of the sensors and actuators.

System configuration:
The system has a modular design. The individual components are networked with each other via the standard CAN bus system; this allows decentralised components to be positioned on the vehicle.

System components:
The basic system consists of 2 components, which are coupled with each other via CAN bus: the operating unit and the control unit for sensors and actuators (I/O unit). Further units such as a radio remote control can be connected via the CAN bus.

The WTMobi is an operating and display device for use in mobile devices and work machines.

External devices such as combustion engines can be monitored and operated via the CAN bus interface. The colour graphic display allows the display and signalling of individual parameters. External units can also be operated and read in via the inputs and outputs. Using the universal programming language C, it is very easy to implement functionalities in the device.

WTcanXL / L / M

Universal CAN node for medium and large applications.

In the WTcanXL we have combined a compact design with a large number of inputs and outputs. With the integrated analogue IOs, even complex systems can be automated. For less extensive applications we recommend the smaller devices of the L or M series.

Mechanical structure

Optionally, the electronics are integrated in a compact control cabinet or we supply them as an open circuit board for self-assembly. This also allows the necessary system cabling to be accommodated in one housing.

Electronics

The robust and powerful electronics have been developed for rough industrial use as well as for mobile automation applications.

Programming

In addition to the standard function as a CAN node, any control tasks can also be integrated without a master. This is made possible by the HEW development tool. With the integrated C compiler, it offers the usual convenience of a modern development environment.

Software updates

Using a PC and an adapter (RS232 or USB), updates can be carried out quickly on the pen tray. Alternatively, there is also a programming device that reads the software from an SD card and programmes it into the device.

Universal CAN node for small and decentralised applications.

The design with a quantity structure of digital and analogue inputs and outputs results in a very versatile automation unit. The key and display interface allows the connection of low-cost HMI units without CAN bus.

Mechanical construction
The unit as a printed circuit board version is supplied with mechanical protection. This unit can be integrated directly into the system to be automated or into a control cabinet. This allows the cabling to be arranged clearly.

Programming
In addition to the standard function as a CAN node, any control tasks can also be integrated without a master. The development tool HEW or E² Studio is used for this purpose. With the integrated C-
Compiler it offers the usual convenience of a modern development environment.

With PC and adapter (RS232 or USB), updates can be carried out quickly at a plug connection. With a WTW programming instrument, the software is read from an SD card.
